Sir Keir Starmer plans to press supporting countries to supply Ukrainian forces with further extended-range weaponry to strike enemy locations during discussions in Britain on the upcoming Friday.

Sir Keir plans to receive President the Ukrainian head of state alongside what's known as "coalition of the willing", comprising more than 20 of supporting nations who have agreed to provide Ukraine security guarantees once a ceasefire is brokered.

The Ukrainian leader has been urging for weeks for further extended-range systems from Western nations, an action that the Russian government has warned would escalate the war.

Ukraine's leader is coming from the EU capital, where he held talks with EU leaders on Thursday seeking funding aid.
