I will overwhelm 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua
The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to promote the upcoming bout.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
